Reviewing Poseidon Water Flosser

Poseidon is a simple to use and rechargeable oral irrigator. It has an attractive and sleek design that will give any bathroom a more modern appearance.

The new version of this unit came in late 2016, and finally introduced a charging stand. It makes things easier, as you do not have to keep looking for the charging wire. After using the device, you can simply place it back on the stand and let its batteries charge fully. It is surprising how very few cordless water jets actually come with a charging station. This is one of the main reasons we featured this model in our list of best water flossers available on the market.

The cord itself is around 18 inches long.

Speaking of charging, Poseidon comes with high powered lithium ion batteries. When fully charged, the device can last up to 10 days if you floss twice a day. If you want to avoid battery exhaustion, just place the gadget back on the charging cradle.

The Poseidon works with universal voltage, so it can be used outside of the United States.

The water tank is not very big. For some reason ToiletTree has not included this information, so we did our own measurement testing and concluded that the water capacity is around 5oz. In other words, it is hard to complete a 90 second floss without having to refill the reservoir.

Refilling this improved ToiletTree unit is easier, because it is done from the bottom of the device. The previous model’s reservoir had to be filled from the top, and it was a little bit annoying. It is good to see that some customer reviews and complaints have been taken under consideration in order to improve the experience with the new unit.

Much like all other cordless oral irrigators, Poseidon features 3 operating modes: normal, soft and pulse. This is absolutely standard for all similar devices. However, we could not find any information regarding the PSI and water pressure of this unit.

The Poseidon comes with a 30 day unconditional 100% money back guarantee. So, if you try and you do not like it, you will get your money back. Other than that, there is an additional 1 year warranty for any defects. ToiletTree’s customer service is known to be pretty good, so they will replace the entire unit free of charge.

This cordless model comes with 2 tips, so you can share it. Each tip is around 5 inches tall. More tips are available for order from the manufacturer at a fair price.

The Poseidon weighs 8 ounces without the base and it is 11 inches long from the bottom to the end of the tip. In this regard, the unit is considered lightweight when compared to similar cordless oral irrigators, such as some Waterpik models.
