Waterpik WP-360W Water Flosser Review For 2019
The WP-360W is one of the older Waterpik models. As such, it has somewhat established itself on the market, but it is by far not the best water flosser that is currently available.Â
Waterpik WP-360W Overview
The WP-360W is effective, convenient and reasonably priced. It comes with 2 flossing tips: the classic low-pressure jet tip and the classic high-pressure jet tip. Waterpik are pretty open to switching the tips if you want something different.
There are some contradicting reviews regarding the battery life of the Waterpik. Some users have reported that the unit lasts up to 3 weeks if used once a day and up to 2 weeks if used twice a day. Our testing showed that the WP-360W model only lasts up to 5 days when fully charged. The Poseidon, by ToiletTree, for example, lasts almost 10 days in comparison. In that regard, we found that the battery life was rather weak.
Furthermore, the battery’s life begins to quickly diminish after 2 months of usage.
What really puzzled us, was why there is not LED charging indicator. There is no way to know when the device is fully charged. You kind of have to guess.
The capacity of the water reservoir is not spectacular. We measured it to be around 5 ounces (150 ml). It will last for about 30 seconds of flossing before you have to fill it up again. However, unlike other cordless units, this one is easy to fill.
It is not clear why Waterpik has not worked to add a bigger reservoir. The unit itself is 12 inches tall and around 3 inches wide. In our opinion, the water tank could have been slightly bigger. But, perhaps this time around Waterpik was aiming at making a lightweight water flosser. Weighing only 300 grams, we must admit that they have managed to do just that.
The water pressure ranges from 45 PSI (soft setting) to 75 PSI (pulse setting). It is not as strong as most countertop models, but it measures pretty well against its cordless nemesis.
To be perfectly honest, there are better cordless water flossers then the WP-360W. This unit is good in the beginning before the batteries start dying too quickly.
Surprisingly, quite a few professionals recommend this unit. We are not sure if this is because of sponsored Waterpik advertisement, or because hygienists truly believe that this product is better.
Most often, this unit is recommended for people with braces. Even though, our findings indicate that all cordless oral irrigators are similarly convenient when used on braces.
One last note, this model is water resistant, so you can use it in the shower. However, it is not waterproof. So, do not go ahead and soak it in your bathtub.

How can Water Pik be the best in the market? They aren’t even in the 21st Century. For a product made in China, they don’t offer a single product with 240 voltage – REALLY WATER PIK???
You 110 volt countertop units are great – just don’t leave North America I guess. Join the world and I’ll buy a portable.
Agree with the review. It really cleans out the deep sockets between the back molars that flossing can’t reach into. If you are over 45 your need one.
The water tank capacity is too small. Won’t do a single outside then inside sweep of the teeth. Needs to be bigger.
Had to get a good angle when doing the inside teeth. The ones with the hose and tip would wok better, but this is portable and good for traveling. They need to provide a short tube attachment for hard to reach spots
PROBLEM: After 5 months of daily use the pressure dropped to near nothing. Tore it apart to check the 2.4V battery pack- it was good at 2.75V on a overnight charge. The motor/pump (hear it) ran fine on empty tank, but if pumping water it was near dead.Cleaned all the pivot points on the pump arms, lightly lubed them and the motor shaft bearing surface and it now runs much better, but not 100%, maybe 85%.
Looking to buy a replacement or this one again as it’s only ~$35 and I will have a set of spar tips and charger. Could have been a fluke bad unit
